Bring'em Back Alive (1999) had only five new tunes on it and a bunch of live songs.....not really a proper studio record even though the five songs were very good.

I went out and picked this up about a month after it came out and I was disappointed. I was expecting a cleaner vocal style than what's on Angel Down and I wasn't digging the Axl angle, it was more like a selling point rather than a collaboration. I really didn't like it after a dozen spins that the CD actually made my 5 Worst Albums of 2007!

I've given it a few more spins lately and a couple of songs grew on me so I'm going to come back to it and see if it's good in the long run.
