No worries, James! I appreciate the comments, the bigger the better (Did *I* just say that out loud?) !

I haven't heard STILL CLIMBING. It's on my humongous list of albums to track down though.

I *almost* saw'em this past summer. I was all set to buy tickets, but then they backed out of the tour because of Tom's throat problems.

What a great band. I miss them. I remember around 1995 or so they were playing in a club near here -- I liked 'em OK, but wasn't a big fan by any means (perhaps this could be attributed to one painful memory: back in high school one of my first girlfriends gave me LONG COLD WINTER for Christmas, and when she broke up with me not long after that I cried and cried every time I heart "Don't Know What You've Got Till It's Gone" . . . holy shit, did I just say that out loud?!).

Anyway . . . my friends dragged me to that club show, and I was absolutely *blown away*. One of the best concerts I have ever seen, before or since. I went out the very next day and bought Cinderella's entire catalog.

STILL CLIMBING, btw, is an underrated masterpiece. Anyone who hasn't heard this latter-day Cinderella release (although I guess it's not *now, but for some reason I still consider it one of their "new" albums), I highly, highly recommended.

Yeah, I'm long-winded. Thanks for listening. :)

This is Cinderella's best album by far! Bought this when it came out in '88 and we played this every morning on the way to school for months. Here in RI, Cinderella got a ton of airplay with their debut NIGHT SONGS. When that tour rolled into Providence with headliners Bon Jovi (Slippery When Wet tour), Cinderella went down huge and they became favorites of all the local radio stations. LONG COLD WINTER got a ton of airplay and I remember hearing the album played late night about a week before it was released. 6 out of 10 songs got on the radio back in the day.
